SVL’s Vision
We believe that a strong math education is the right of every child, and that all aspects of a school or district’s math program must work together to support every child to learn math at high levels.
SVL’s Mission
We work with schools and distract – bring together the best of math education research, change theory, and our extensive experiences in K-12+ math education – to design and implement math programs which result in high quality instruction and deep student learning.
Our Model
We strive to form robust and sustained partnerships with each school/district we take on. This allows us to collaborate closely with teachers and administrators, tailoring our approach to the unique context and background of the school or district. As such – because we immerse ourselves in each math program we work on– we are only able to partner with a small handful of districts in a given year, and we often end up collaborating with a school or district across multiple years.
